Local Goodies Shed

We have been dreaming and planning a Local Goodies Food Hub Shed.

The Shed is situated at Riverbend Lane, on the outskirts of the beautiful coastal town of Denmark. Local Goodies is in a perfect location for accessibility. It is 3km from the main Denmark townsite, off a bike trail, and directly opposite the Golden Hill Steiner School, and even closer to the High School expansion. The shed’s overall intention is to be a distribution point for Goodies Farm produce and other locally grown food and help to enhance Denmark’s ability to feed itself with minimal food miles.

It will house a commercial kitchen, cool room, wood fire oven, pantry cupboard, flour packing room, toilet and shower.

There has been a pause to the works as the costs expanded beyond what we thought but we will get there. Watch this space and please feel free to send us an email if you wish to be involved in the project one way or another.
